Getting started
Create your account
Two steps: sign up, then tell us. We give you access to your club's events and you're ready to go. It usually takes a few minutes.
How it works
- 1Sign up. Go to griprank.com/sign-up and create your account with your email address.
- 2Tell us. Send us a message through griprank.com/contact with the email you just signed up with and the name of your club, gym, or event.
- 3We give you access. We'll set you up and let you know when it's done.
- 4Sign in again. Sign out, then sign back in. Your new access only appears after you sign in again.
Adding your team
Anyone helping you organise or run the event needs their own account. Ask each of them to do the same two steps — sign up, then tell us their email — and we'll add them too. Don't share one login between people. Judges are the exception — they don't need an account at all (see below).
Use the right sign-up page
GripRank has separate sign-up pages for different people. Using the wrong one is the most common thing that goes wrong.
You run events
Setting up competitions, scoring, and results? This is you.
Parents & climbers
Entering competitions and following results is a different sign-up page.
Judges
Judges don't need an account. They scan a QR code and type in a passcode.
A parent account won't work for running events
The two sign-up pages create completely separate accounts. If you sign up as a parent, we can't give you access to run events — and we won't be able to find your email when we look for it. If you run events, sign up at griprank.com/sign-up. You can use the same email address on both if you need both.
Common problems
I've signed up but I can't create a competition+
You have an account, but we haven't given you access yet. Send us your email address through /contact and we'll sort it out.
You gave me access but I still can't get in+
Sign out and sign back in. Access only appears after you sign in again. If it still doesn't work, get in touch and tell us which page you're trying to open.
I signed up on the parents & climbers page by mistake+
No problem — that account still works for entering competitions. Just sign up again at griprank.com/sign-up. You can use the same email address.
The confirmation email hasn't arrived+
Give it a minute and check your junk or spam folder. Still nothing? Get in touch and we'll help.
